Every year i take my family to blackpool and we stay here everytime. The owners keith and angela are great, my two children aged 3 and 5 love staying at the hotel too, the rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfasts are delicious and plenty cereal, toast, fruit juice and tea. We honestly cant pick a fault here, very family friendly even down to a 3d tv in lounge with films for the kids to watch as and when they choose. Fantastic hotel

After being let down by a hotel I rung this hotel the day before was told our room was reserved and to just turn to on the Saturday. We drove from Liverpool to be greeted with an empty hotel with a notice saying we couldn't stay there no explanation nothing! It was 2pm and we then had to find another hotel. It was actually my 40th birthday and my boyfriend surprised me with an engagement while we were away and luckiky it didnt ruin our weekend as we found a hotel but we were not happy!

I can see now why my partner was more upset with what he had planned!

I don't think I'd ring this hotel again for a future bookings to be let down.

We arrived on a rainy night and were glad to be welcomed into the warm comfort of the King Edward Hotel. Our room was clean, smallish but good value for the amount we were paying. Breakfast was also good value. We were frequently asked if we wanted more. The location is good. we were a short tram ride away from the Tower. I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was my second time staying here, first was 11 years ago-different owners- and i must say,Keith and Angelas welcome was warm and friendly-as was the hotel. clean and comfortable rooms, everything working,no problems at all. excellent breakfast, superb bar[that we didnt use-but shouldve!!] and excellent lounge area.
i had a great weekend there with my old mates, very comfortable-no problems at all.
brilliant.
i would definetely return.
value for money, and just around the corner from Gyn square,on the north shore-so its quiet at night, but only a 5 minute tram ride away from all the fun and chaos, that makes Blackpool, the best resort in the uk.
cheers to Keith and Angela...long may they reign!
john welsh.

Room Tip: i saw 3 rooms-all great.

You are made to feel welcome at this place from the moment you walk in the door. The rooms are very dated but clean and spacious with good facilities. This place would be ideal for families, couple and even groups on a 'party weekend' - as long as you're sensible.

The breakfast in the morning was freshly made and nothing is too much bother for the owners - who will cater to your needs.

I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. It also represents fantastic value for money!
