We've stayed there several times, and they remembered us from about 4 years ago! That says a lot about this hotel.
Rooms are small, but well furnished. Ours (No 15) had a great view of The Big One, and we could just see the sea. Naturally we didn't spend much time in our room.
Beds were comfortable, the mattress nice and soft, but pillows much harder than normal. We slept well, and midweek it was very quiet at night.
Breakfast was good, well cooked, and quickly served.
Our only complaint was walking into our room at 5.30pm on a chilly October day after getting wet on Valhalla, to find the windows wide open. The room didn't warm up properly until the next day. He did turn the heating on early for us (they turn it off in the daytime), and explained the cleaner thought the room smelt musty, but she should have closed the windows later. He made sure it didn't happen again.
Overall, we love staying here. We always struggled to find a good hotele in Blackpool, this place is great, and has encouraged us to repeatedly visit the town.
