We were welcomed by our hosts with coffee and cake before being taken to our room.the b&b was clean, bedroom was comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was minutes from the centre of Blackpool. We booked a 1 night stay to see a concert at The Opera House. Breakfast was lovely,we had fruit juice, cereals, and full english with toast and coffee, nothing is too much trouble. Crockery and cutlery were pristine and lots of other choices including porridge with whiskey! Definately recommended if you are travelling to Blackpool.

I wanted our stay to be near the centre of Blackpool but just away from the late night noise, with on-site parking and The Address fitted the bill.
We were warmly welcomed by Joseph and Kalpena on our stay at The Address.
Our stay was very pleasant and our room was very comforable and clean. The breakfast was excellent! It was very good value for money.

"The Address" had been recommended by a relative who had stayed there the week before with her husband and young daughter. After a horrendous four hour journey which should have taken two (this was due to the M5 being closed) we were warmly welcomed by Mr Robinson who immediately took all of our cases to the rooms - this doesn't always happen in hotels. Both rooms were spotless, comfortable with every facility. Even though it must have been inconvenient for Mr & Mrs Robinson to cook our evening meal an hour and a half late they didn't seem to mind at all, nothing was too much trouble. We sat down to a lovely three course meal, i particularly enjoyed their home made mushroom soup which was delicious.
We were even given a free glass of wine and we only had to pay a pound for another glass which was very cheap. We couldn't find a bar open in the town after 11pm as it was the end of the season so it would have been nice to have had a drink in the hotel bar after 10pm - this is my only small criticism. Breakfast was equally as good as the evening meal - there was so much choice. Before we left I mentioned I had a relative who was disabled and was shown their disability friendly room which was extremely spacious, ideal for a wheelchair and the massive wet room was ideal. To conclude, this is one of the best small hotels we have ever stayed in and equals any large chain hotels in terms of hospitality, comfort and cleanliness. We were particularly impressed with the professionalism of our hosts, Mr and Mrs Robinson who were very kind, friendly and extremely helpful. They have an establishment of which they should be very proud. We would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. I wish them well in the future.

Dear lorraine j,

Thank you for staying at The Address on your recent visit to Blackpool.
We are glad that your stay was comfortable & that you enjoyed the evening meal & the breakfast.
Thank you for taking the time to post a detailed review of your experience on TA.

Just to clarify for the benefit of our future guests:
The evening meal includes any one drink from our bar including a small bottle of wine ....any extra drinks are charged as per the prices on the bar drinks menu....ie. not "free".
The bar timings are in keeping with the fact that we are a family run 3 Star Visit England Guest Accommodation property.....not a "hotel" & that we have a legal requirement with regards to the opening & closing times.....most of our guests are families with children & fully understand this.
We are glad that you liked our disability friendly room.
It was a pleasure to have you with us & we look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit.

Kind Regards,

Kalpana & Joseph Robinson.

Dear pat f,

Thank you for staying with us on your recent visit to Blackpool with the family.
We are glad that your bed was comfortable & that you slept well.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your experience at The Address on TA.
We appreciate your feedback & take this opportunity to make a few points/clarifications for the benefit of our future guests.
The Address is a family run 3 Star Guest Accommodation property..... all lighting requirements ie. corridors/rooms etc. are therefore in line with this classification.
The main sign is on a timer which shuts off at 12.30 am.
For guests coming in after 12.30 am., the porch light is on throughout the night providing adequate lighting.
The opening & closing times of the bar are in keeping with our legal requirements.
Most family bars close at approx. 10 pm.
All guests who book with us either directly or on our website are sent a welcome letter via e mail thanking them for booking with us / clarifying the free car park status ie. whether available or not & asking them about any special dietary requirements or allergies so as to be aware / prepared prior to arrival.
The evening meal menus are on our website & guests are asked if they would like to have an evening meal & if yes, the menu is chosen / agreed upon prior to arrival so as to give us adequate time to prepare.
We prepare all our food for the evening meal "on order, cooked from scratch".
Most of our guests appreciate the fact that the curry is freshly made & authentic.....this takes time & undivided concentration in order to achieve the quality that we strive for & we are hopeful (not boastful).....!!!....that they enjoy the food.
On certain days we are not in a position to do evening meals as we are full or almost full & prefer to divide our attention between those in house & those soon to arrive rather than concentrate on two or three evening meals......thus giving all our guests the attention that they deserve.
For an in room , cup of tea / coffee......tea & coffee facilities are placed in all rooms along with biscuits/decaffeinated coffee/hot chocolate/fruit tea etc.
We inform/encourage all our guests to pick up a flask of fresh semi skimmed or whole milk from the kitchen if they require & ask for a refill whenever they like.
We hope that the above clarifies the feedback in your review.
It was a pleasure to have you with us & we hope that we get another opportunity to welcome you back on your next visit.

Kind Regards,

Kalpana & Joseph.

The service during booking was helpful and friendly and the service, rooms, food and hospitality during our stay was first class. I spoke to another local hotel owner when I was searching for availability for a one night stay during the illuminations, he told me all the good places only take a minimum of 2 nights and anywhere that accommodated 1 night would be grotty, he was SO wrong.

Joseph and Kalpana were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were lovely, the food and hospitality was excellent and they made us all feel so welcome. We had lots of little one's in our party, they were particularly helpful with the kiddy things and we will all definitely be returning again.

Room Tip: We had 4 family rooms, they were all great.

We have stayed in many different B & B's in Blackpool over the years - and I haven't found one yet that offers the hospitality that Joseph and Kalpana offered.

The room was spacious and clean, and there was plenty of little extras in the room, that you would not normally expect from a B & B.

The Breakfasts were great - there really was so much choice.

We would definitely recommend The Address to anyone, and look foward to visiting again soon!
