Just had a fantastic weekend again at the Ruskin Hotel. We come to this hotel 3-4 times each year and have for the past 10+ years and the reason we keep going back to this one hotel is for the happy atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and great entertainment.

We took our 6yr old grand-daughter with us for the first time and she just can't wait to go back again and is already asking for us to re-book - this could be of course because she liked Coral Island and the Tower Circus which was absolutely fantastic.

We will probably be going back again in a couple of months as we find this hotel to be very relaxing and restful. Anyone visiting this hotel could not possibly be disappointed about anything the hotel provides.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a Blue Riband room as bigger rooms

We recently stayed at The Ruskin for a very enjoyable Cabaret Weekend. The food was excellent and plentyful, good accomadation and the entertainment was first class. The management and staff at The Ruskin are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is only minutes away from The Tower, Promenade and the Houndsfield Shopping Centre.

The problem i have with the Ruskin is you pay hotel prices and get B&B Rooms.
Its as though they have crammed as many rooms as they can into each floor, the rooms are in desperate need of maintenance / Refurbishment.
On the whole very disappointed with the accommodation, The rooms need gutting,

Thank you for your feedback on our hotel. The Ruskin prides itself on excellent service and food and we're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. We have a range of rooms from standard upto deluxe to suit all budgets. The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment on a majority of our rooms but obviously will take time. We hope that you will stay with us in the future and we can make your next stay as comfortable as possible.

Recently attended one of the Ruskin Hotels Xmas party nights . The front of the hotel looked wonderful with not one but four large fresh xmas trees all lit up and the inside was tastefully decorated . The staff are all very friendly and welcoming . The food , entertainment , D.J and singer were all excellent . A superb night . Have no hesitation recommending to anyone . We are all looking forward to returning in 2011 !

I have hosted a couple of wine tastings at The Ruskin Hotel for my company The Lancashire Wine School. They always look after me and my customers and the food for lunch is delicious.
