My husband and i stayed at the Ruskin Hotel last week,we would just like to say thankyou for the lovely welcome and hospitalaty we received. The staff are a credit to the management, even though the hotel was busy, nothing was to much trouble for them, they were so helpful, courteous and cheerful.
The bedrooms were superb,so clean and modern,we understand there has just been a refurbishment of all the bedrooms in the hotel, they look lovely so full credit to the management for that.
The food was great and the prices very reasonable, the staff in the bar deserve a special mention, they make you feel very special and are very efficient.Well done to you all.

We are definatly going back to stay, already booked our next visit for July,i would advise anybody wanting to go to book early for this very popular and central Blackpool Hotel.Highly recommend the Ruskin as one of the best in Blackpool and beyond.Well done........

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend (2nd to 4th March). We booked this hotel as a group organiser for 43 people. on arrival on the Friday afternoon, all the rooms were ready for us.The room that I and my wife had was very spacious, spotlessly clean and warm. it came with 2 single and one double bed, flat screen LCD TV and tea/coffee.We were half board, when at the restaurant we had nothing but praise from all in the party. all rooms were fine and all meals were excellent with plenty to eat and a good choice. Entertainment in the evening was themed as a sixties weekend. I have heard better but for the price it was good, anyway, after a few beers at the bar it became excellent. As for the bar it was very reasonably priced, which makes a good change as so many hotels seem to rip you off these days with extortionate prices. The staff from reception to waiting were all very professional and always had a smile, something sadly missing in many hotels these days. Overall. we had a brilliant weekend and would have no hesitation in booking this hotel in the future. On the negative side (which is hard) there is a few scuff and scratches around but as this a busy hotel it is to be expected, also there was no alarm clock in the room. On behalf of myself (driver) wife (organiser) and all in the group thanks to all the staff who attended to us they should be proud of the service they provide.

Just had over night stay at the Ruskin Hotel,I booked a few days earlier and then having read the Hotel De-Luxe rooms I thought i would upgrade,Well disapointed the room was not all that big, the bathroom was tiny had a terrible smell "like the drains were blocked" the lock on the window was broke and the net curtains were full of cobwebs so was not really pleased. There was also stains on the carpet, I think for £90 I would go back to the Hilton Hotel and pay a extra £6 pounds and know its going to be top rate. So I wont be going back here.......
