Very central hotel, close to Blackpool Tower. One of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff are all very pleasant and hard working. Very keen to please their customers. The food is excellent. Good variety at every meal. Excellent service from the dining room staff. Our room was large and extremely clean. Special mention has to be made of Kath and her team at Reception, who were so helpful when I requested that we take our Golden Retriever with us and arranged for the large room. They were all most pleasant and very obliging. Even the night porter (sorry can't remember your name) was cheerful and chatty. This hotel doesn't take hen or stag parties, so you'll get a good night's sleep. The only negative which I could mention is that the floor boards in the corridors are very creaky, so a bit noisy - maybe someone could lift the carpet and put a few extra nails in them!! Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Lift is slow, so lower floors recommended.

We have not long come home from a holiday in Blackpool, this was a surprise birthday treat for my wife & what a great time we had at The Ruskin Hotel. This hotel is situated in the heart of Blackpool on Albert Road, we are both disabled but it was a short walk to the town centre by taking a short cut through Debenhams. On arrival we were allocated our room and what a room it was, it was massive. The food was absolutely first class, buffet breakfast and plenty of it, dinner was a four course meal, the entertainment was great especially "Nico" on the first night, he used to be part of Freddie and The Dreamers. We are looking to going again next year for the illuminations, (my wife says "NO" for the trifle). We would recommend this hotel for it's first class service and such friendliness.

The ruskin was amazing we had a brilliant time.

For a start the rooms were emaculate and there was lots of facilities in the room including:tea+coffee facilities, mirrors and lots of hangers!!!!!If you needed a hair dryer you could just go down to the reception and ask for one no charge at all.

The food was lovely and very posh. You had a starter, main course and a sweet. You had lots of options. You got a breakfast and dinner.

The hotel was in a perfect location as it wasn't far from the main attractions and the piers.

If you want a fun enjoyable stay at blackpool this is the place for you.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room on the lower floors so you don't have to wait for the slow lift you can...

Another great weekend at the Ruskin. Staff can't do enough for you and food is just the best we have had in our years 15yrs of hotels in Blackpool. and we have been to some places... Entertainment was good. Rooms are better now. Would not stay anywhere else and the guy's will not go anywhere too. Looking forward to next year already.

What a great place to stay, a little dated but absolutely fabulous service and what great staff, couldn't do enough for you, helpful, room great all the facilities you need. Food great, staff wonderful couldn;t fault anyone at all. Garage service good. We had a wonderful time at the Ruskin no complaints at all. I can only say I wish all hotels were like this one FAB!!!. the only downside was that the upholstery in Rileys Bar could have been a little bit more modern (refurbished would be brilliant) but I can only say that my stay here was great and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Blackpool.

Just returned from The Ruskin Hotel Albert Road Blackpool, the room was very clean fresh towels each day multi channel TV (not comfortable to watch). The resturant was clean and tidy but a little crowded, the food and service were very good with plenty to eat.

Room Tip: National bus pass accepted on trams ( but only the English one).
