“weekend break”

First time we have stayed at the Ruskin Hotel, but would definitely stay there again. Food was excellent along with very good service. Only one very little complaint that the rooms were a bit on the small side.

The hotel is ideally situated for all the Blackpool attractions ( apart from the Pleasureland ) so there is no need for Taxis. The Hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfasts and evening meals could not be faulted with a high standard of food quality and quantity. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The drinks prices in the bar and Cabaret rooms were VERY reasonable and cheaper than some of the bars in Blackpool. one cabaret artist per night during our stay but they were of a very good standard. We have booked to stay for the New Year Package and we cant wait to return.
This Hotel I will highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Blackpool.

Room Tip: Rooms are better on the 1st Floor as the only lift is slow.

Very convenient for all attractions, with safe parking.(which costs extra) but everything in easy walking distance. The tourist office can give better prices for some attractions and the trams will take a bus pass most of the day but ASK first.

Room Tip: Top floor quietest, but only noise is from hotel entertainers.

Stayed at the Ruskin last week-end, no problem checking in the receptionist was great , let me park the car early ,I was a bit stressed due to the traffic jams.
The room was clean comfortable and a comfy bed.
The Staff in General were all attentive without being intrusive .
A very good stay at the Ruskin...

Good clean friendly hotel with really good food. Could not fault the place except for some people the corridors are a bit long and claustrophobic.Shower was a bit tight to get in and out of but don't let me put you off this gem and i will defiantly return.

We stayed at the Ruskin as a friend of ours was getting married there. The rooms were in need of some TLC, very cramped, wall paper hanging off the walls, no sink in the bathroom it was in the bedroom. We were previously taking our 2 year old so had a cot in our room, too, thank goodness he stayed with relatives, 3 in the room would have been a nightmare. The hotel was ridiculously hot too. For £58.50 each a night this seemed a little excessive. The hotel has no parking so we spent 2 hours driving round the local streets looking for a space. We missed the bride and grooms entrance as a result.
The website looks like a well maintained hotel, but obviously the pictures were taken some time ago. I would not recommend this hotel

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else
