We stayed at the Corona for 2 nights with our dog - a labrador. Paul couldn't have been friendlier when we booked or when we arrived. In fact the only thing that let it down was the size of our room which for a couple would have been fine but with the mutt it was a bit more of a squash. They were heavily booked however and we didn't book until about 6 weeks before so I know this is my fault more than anything.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we do really appreciate it, and we are very pleased you enjoyed your time with us. You did mention the room size and yes, I have to agree, the guest rooms are not the largest and this is mainly due to the art deco building from the late 1930's, we have refurbished the building over the past 10 years ensuring all guests are offered full amenities in rooms. For future visits, we also have larger rooms that would suit you a little better, espcially if Barny the labrador is coming too.
Once again, thank you.
Paul & Richard

Myself, my husband and 5-year old daughter stayed here for a mid-week break in the Easter holidays. From our arrival at the hotel to when we left nothing was too much for Paul, the owner. Check-in was great and so nice to be greeted with such genuine warmth - Paul even helped us carry our bags up to the room! I travel quite a bit for business and never get such great service - even when paying significantly more than we did for this hotel!
The hotel was just a short walk to both the Pleasure Beach and Water Park which was perfect - we could just leave the car in the free parking outside the hotel for the entirety of our stay.
At nights it was so peaceful in the hotel - I didn't even know other people were staying there until breakfast in the hotel the first morning! The breakfast in the hotel definitely deserves a mention too. A variety of cereals and juices are set out in the breakfast room for you to choose from. Paul the owner comes to the table to get orders for tea and coffee and later to get orders for any hot breakfast items you might want from the menu. Really nice to get a break from the usual buffet self-service breakfast you get in mose hotels and be looked after! We all had a full english every morning - including my daughter! It was lovely and fresh as it is made to order and really set us all up for a day out.
We got a great recommendation from Paul for an Italian restaurant nearby for a meal out one evening. It was a lovely meal and the restaurant had a really nice, lively atmosphere.
All in all couldn't fault it this hotel in any way. It's great! We are planning to come back in the Summer for my daughter to try out the new Nickolodean World at the Pleasure Beach (which sadly hadn't opened in time for our visit but looked great) and we would definitely stay here again! Thankyou to Paul for helping make our little family break so relaxing and enjoyable!

A warm welcome on arrival by Richard and Paul, shown around hotel and taken to room. Our room was well equipped and very cosy as well as very clean to a very high standard. Breakfast was superb and served quick and with a smile. The bar lounge was of a very high standard with decor and seating, prices very cheap. Owners Paul and Richard were very helpful with knowledge of places to eat out and always willing to chat and help make the stay a lovely experience.
Strongly recommend this hotel for families, couples and business people as out of the centre of Blackpool but near enough to walk into.
Will certainly stay at the corona again after a great 2 night stay.

Room Tip: All rooms well equipped for a quiet relaxing stay

Just arrived back from this hotel. Very impressed and pleased. The staff are very friendly and approachable and we were both made to feel very welcome. The hotel itself was lovely and clean and the bedroom we stayed in was very modern.
The breakfast and dining area were great, and the hotel was a half hour walk away from the centre of blackpool so this ment we were away from the loud nightlife from the centre.
The hotel bar was priced very fairly and once again the service was great.
I would return to this hotel if i was to visit Blackpool again

Hi, thanks for the great review, it's very good of you to take time to let others know how your stay was at the Corona. It's exactly what future guests would like to hear about a hotel, but sadly, it's not always the case with many hotels, in the UK, and abroad. We try to make all our guest short break as enjoyable as possible, we try to keep our prices both room and bar fair.
We share our reviews with the staff on a regular basis, as they are a key eliment to our success too.
Once again, thank you.
Richard

Thank you so much for your review, yes some of the double rooms are on the small side, but we try to enhance this by what we offer in the room and the public areas of the hotel as you saw. It means a lot to us that you took the time to review us and share your thoughts with other trip advisor travellers, thanks again, Paul & Richard
We also offer Superior and a Luxury room that are slightly larger for future bookings.
