Just returned from Turkey and Tinsel once again. Xmas decorations absolutely fabulous. Food great, Richard and Paul as usual brilliant they cannot do enough to make you welcome. Entertainment was very good with an excellent singer whose name was Reiss I think, he should go on BGT. I mentioned to Paul that I had forgotten my tooth brush and toothpaste and in a twinkling of an eye two disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste appeared. You certainly would not get that in normal hotels. Hotel is ideally situated for the trams and you can use your bus pass on them which is very useful. Lovely clientelle NO riff raff. Have booked again for next year and would definitely recommend this hotel for single people, pensioners, younger people and families. Keep up the good work Paul and Richard.

Just returned from Turkey & Tinsel weekend, What a fantastic weekend never stopped laughing entertainment brilliant food out of this world Paul and Richard you are stars and your staff are a credit to you, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean as is the rest of the Hotel and are lovely and warm. This was our 3rd visit to the Corona and our first Turkey and Tinsel we came with a friend who thoroughly enjoyed herself so much so we have all booked again for two visits next year. The Christmas decorations are out of this world and need to be seen to be believed they are fantastic. Thank you Richard and Paul you are the most exceptional Hoteliers.

Room Tip: Room 11 is a Superior Room and is on the back of the hotel and is quiet.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend and i loved it. The only thing was the coldness. It was soooo cold and we had no hot water in the hot tap in bathroom. The fact that we could not eat takeaway in our room that we paid for also annoyed me, but apart from that it was a really pleasant stay. The Christmas decorations are AMAZING. Paul was friendly and welcoming, told us about the attractions we wanted to visit.

Hello, thank you for putting your thoughts on trip advisor, we do really appreciate what our guests have to say. Overall your review was very good, thank you for that.
Why did you not come down and ask for the heating to be turned up? We have the heating on a timer that meets all our guests needs in the hotel as well as offer hot water all day, the water is on all the time so there should not be a reason for not having hot water in the sink, the room you were in has an electric shower so no issues there. I can apologise for the room being a bit cold but a simple request is all it takes to fix any concerns.
I am sure you will agree that your room was fresh and clean on arrival?
Well, would you believe one way we ensure this is by asking guests not to take curries, kebabs and other hot food in to bedrooms. We do offer warm plates, cutlery napkins, salt and pepper to guests who would like to eat food they order in, we don't mind guests using the conservatory or the reception lounge for this as you know, I really think we are fair on this policy.
If you arrived to a room that was full of the previous guests stale curry or kebab, I can guarantee that you would bring it to our attention at once. I hope you see our reasons why we do not encourage this.
Thank you,
Paul

We arrived a little earlier than the two o'clock check in expecting to be asked to come back later which has happened to us at other hotels, but no, we were met with a very friendly and welcoming greeting. We were able to help ourselves to coffee whilst Paul checked if the room was ready. We were shown to our room (25) and it was cosy, tastefully decorated and very clean. We were going out for tea and we're recommend some restaurants which were not on the main blackpool strip but only a 5/10 min walk away from the hotel and we would highly recommend them. The hotel is 2mins from the pleasure beach so ideal for those wanting the excitement of the theme park. Near tram stops and a two minute walk to the beach. The hotel was being decorated with Christmas decorations whilst we were there ready for the turkey and tinsel season and looked wonderful. Breakfast was lovely with cereals, yougart etc first and the choice of a full breakfast or mix and match your requirements. It seemed to us that nothing was to much trouble and they would go out of there way to make your stay a pleasant one. 10/10

Just returned from a great break with the family it was a treat for our sons 25th birthday and it couldn't have being any better in the form off the corona hotel run to perfection by the owners Paul and Richard very welcoming and spotlessly clean just off the south end of the promenade a few mins from the tram stop, other hoteliers should take note on the corona and see how they clearly take pride in the high standard they've achieved, also they recommended a restaurant to us in Lytham so we booked and went all I can say is wow what amazing food thanks to Paul it just topped our weekend off nicely,we will certainly be returning to the hotel again in the future what a gem credit to you both

Room Tip: Upgrade to a bigger room with them added little extras
