Just back from a weekend in Blackpool and decided to stay at the Doric - never stayed here before but will certainly stay here again when visiting Blackpool. The hotel is in a quiet location and there is a tram stop just outside. Car parking is limited but there was plenty of spaces on the side streets. The room was great - we had a sea view. It was extremely clean and warm. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Especially all the waiters/ waitresses on at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. The man who showed us to our seats (sorry never got his name)was very helpful and friendly. A great way to start the day. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends. A great addition to this hotel was the indoor swimming pool.
