After much searching on the net, I found the Fylde and thought it seemed a nice place with good facilities. Having arrived there for a long weekend I found it to be so much better than I had first anticipated. Vicky and her parents made us feel very welcome and were fantastic hosts. We took my teenage son and a friend, and having an xbox and wii in the lounge area were perfect for them while waiting for us to get ready. The room was clean, modern, and had a lovely new looking bathroom with bath and shower, as well as an adjoining room for the boys. Breakfast was quality, with everything you could imagine, from fruit, breads, waffles and cereals, to a full English, all self service and all nice and fresh.
Located in a quiet road away from hustle and bustle, yet only a 10 minute walk from the main attractions and sea front. Also have parking facilities which you don't often see. Would definitely recommend a stay here, and will be using again on our next visit.
