Been to blackpool a fair few times and alway stayed on this road as it is great, very short walk then u are in the town.
Me and my friend sayed here for one night, on arrival at the hotel the lady who owend the hotel turned round and said straight away ooooo two grils you lesibians, which we were shocked by, not are you haveing a nice day, safe trip ect. Needless to says no we are not gay we are both marriage with kids. The hotel really smelt really really bad of curry, The room was awful the window didn't shut right, the shower door didn't close there was dirt every where, it was that bad after getting a shower we wudn't stand on the bathroom floor without towels been every where, our OWN towels. Hairs in the bathroom, mold on the window, cold room, dust every where. This hotel is just the pitts i wouldn't recommand this hotel to a dog, just awful. We had decided to have a little of a lie in, in the moring as we didn't have our kids, we were both up at 6.30 showered, dressed, bags to the car, 8.00am Breackfast which was awful to, dirty table cloths, Dirty cutlury. By 8.15 we had left. Please Please Please don't stay here, really awful discuting hotel. I wud rather sleep under the peir next time than stay at this hotel again.

We recently stayed at The Golden Nile, and whilst the owners were very accommodating the room left a lot to be desired. There was only enough room for the bed, we couldn't unpack our bags due to lack of room. The bathroom ensuite, was so small when you used the loo your knees hit the wall opposite, and the shower was small so you couldnt move in it. Electrics didn't work, power points located on floor so had to boil kettle on the floor. Overall for the money we paid we were very unhappy which soured our visit to Blackpool.

Where do I start? My family and I stayed for 2 nights. It is by far the WORST place we have ever stayed. The room was filthy and the bathroom window was locked open and honked of curry!! After being in the room for half an hour we decided to go and buy our own pillow cases as the ones provided were dirty. We moved our bed away from the wall and found an empty bottle of WKD! Classy or what! The 'breakfast' was vile and the lady owner hung around the tables making it feel quite uncomfortable. The shower was a joke,I felt like I needed a shower after i'd been in their's! Put it this way,I felt like I was on the set of channel 4's SHAMELESS!!

We stayed here on a weekend break to visit the sights of Blackpool. We had a lovely breakfast at the hotel. It was nice and clean, and really close to the main sightseeing areas. On our return we had a nice evening in the bar chatting to others - a really friendly down to earth hotel.
The decor is fun, and it's nice and warm and cosy.

I don't think this hotel deserves such a bad review. It was a fascinating experience for me and my wife when we stayed there in Aug 2009. The owner couple take every possible care of yours and the breakfast is mouth watering too. I strongly recommend.

i recently visited the golden nile hotel, and am very confused abt the previous reviews. The hotel is very clean, the owners showed me every room in the hotel and i could not fault one. The bathrooms, bedding ect were all clean, the kitchens were spotless and the owners more than helpfull. I am shocked that people have put such bad reviews about the golden nile as i consider it to be a great place to stay in blackpool and a fantastic location. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.
