The most welcoming, friendly place, nothing too much trouble. Really good value for clean room, good breakfast and top service. The location was close to the pleasure beach and a short walk to all other amenities. The bar was a super extra and we had a lot of fun, great music and exceptional service. Will be visiting again very soon and all our future visits to Blackpool we will be staying at The Mornington Hotel.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at the Mornington hotel. John and kay are excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are clean and tidy with very comfortable beds.
Breakfast was served between 9-9.30am and had a good choice. We were with a large party and everyone had a fabulous time and have booked to go back next Year.

this is our second year on the trot we have stayed at the mornington and can honestly say we wouldnt stay anywhere else. A warm and friendly greeting from the owners John Kay and Courtney brilliant hosts and the best little waitress in blackpool. the hotel is spotlessly clean and warm a good hearty full english breakfast in the morning sets you up for the day the hotel has its own spacious bar downstairs where you can mix and meet other guests and the owners are always about and nothing is too much trouble the hotel is close to the pleasure beach tower and bars beach and arcades we have already booked for our return next year and already looking forward to it a lovely family hotel

Room Tip: there was 17 in our party all families so we tried all size rooms and they were all excellent

We stopped in this B&B on the 19th Oct 2013 for a one night stay to take the children to see the lights we paid £70 for a family room including breakfast very good value (i work at a big hotel chain myself and couldnt get a room with my staff discount for this price) as i mentioned breakfast was good not huge portions but big enough and they did ask if you wanted anything else we did have extra toast and some more coffee which they supplied really quickly, the rooms were also very clean, the man and wife who run the hotel were very freindly and I would definetly stay here again, its also very close to the south pier (about 1 min walk) so it was nice and quiet but still close enough to the sea front. there is also a small car park about a minutes walk away we parked from 2pm on the sat until 5pm on the sun for £15 not sure if this is good value or not but the first one we found.
