“Christmas Break”
Reviewed 1 January 2013

Having previously visited the Seacroft we knew what to expect. We were warmly greeted by the owners Pete and Steve. We were shown to our Premier room which was large with everything you would need to be comfortable on holiday including a lovely two seater leather sofa and coffee table. The en-suite was equipped with a large shower cubicle complete with superior quality large white fluffy towels and toiletries.

We enjoyed a pleasant drink in the lounge/bar area where drinks are reasonably priced. Pete and Steve gave us tips on what restaurants to use and places to go. They explained where to obtain tram tickets from at a discount and we enjoyed a few hours out to Fleetwood.

The breakfast was still of Continental style but they had extended the choice available. There was a choice of fruit juices, cereals, toast with jam and marmalade. There was now also a selection of sliced meats, cheeses, yoghurts, jellies, pastries and other cakes for you to help yourself too. Not forgetting the tea and coffee.

Pete and Steve really could not do any more to make their guests feel welcome and run a spotlessly clean bed and breakfast.

We will be back soon. Thank you.

It was lovely to see you both again after such a time, it was also nice to meet your friends.

We will always try and offer our guests information on what is available locally, as we belive that providing a professional, yet friendly service is just as important as is the bed you slept in and the breakfast you enjoyed.

Having lived in Blackpool, you get to know the B&B's and hotels to avoid... I'm not here to name and shame. Since moving to Glasgow 5 years ago, my partner and I have stayed at some awful places. But now, we're confident we've found somewhere we'll be visiting every time we come to see friends and family! I can honestly describe this B&B as a "diamond in the rough". Somewhere that honestly wasn't just some place we wanted to put our head down; we enjoyed spending time in our suite, and in the bar with Peter and Steve, who made us feel more than welcome! We were also lucky enough to enjoy their company socially whilst on a night out! The rooms are tastefully decorated, lovely and spacious and very clean. The location for us is perfect; close to bars, clubs, restaurants and travel links. The bed was also very comfortable, soft linens and great quality towels. The only thing I regret was that we were unfortunately never up early enough to experience their breakfast! We would highly recommend this hotel to anybody wanting more of that personal touch in not only their surroundings, but the service offered too. The guys have got something to be very proud of here! Hopefully see you in December! Thanks, Tallon and Shaun, Glasgow

Room Tip: We stayed in the top floor suite, which had a living area with sofa, table and fridge, in case you...

Thanks for your very kind comments guys, one of the first things we did when we arrived last year was to look at replacing all off the bedding, along with buying mattress, duvet and pillowcase protectors.

Maybe when you visit again in the next few weeks you can sample our breakfast, which again we have increased, from just simply being toast and cereals to include, meats, cheeses, pasteries etc. It was great meeting you both last time and we are looking forward to having you stay with us again soon.

My friend and I stayed for two nights last weekend, overall hotel experience was great, very clean and large rooms, service from Pete & Steve was fantastic, good choice at breakfast (continental). Hotel well positioned for night life, flying handbag, mardi gras etc. and close to car parking. Will definately go back and would recommend to others.
Thanks guys.
Graham & Robert

Room Tip: Twin room at front was fab.

Arrived at hotel to extremely warm welcome shown to large king size room extremely clean and lovely decor. The hotel was well located near to Funny Girls where we spent our Saturday evening well worth a visit entertained through out, also easy walking distance to seafront,Blackpool tower and attractions.Hosts were very helpful and gave information on where to dine out as well as areas to be vigilant, the hotel is spotlessly clean and decor immaculate throughout with a pleasant bar area to enjoy a chat and and tipple to set you on your way. Will have no hesitation on returning and recommending the hotel and proprietors to family and friends, thank you again for a very enjoyable weekend.

Room Tip: If you like plenty of space and cupboard space as well as comfort the King size room is a good choic...

My friend and I stayed at the Seacroft for three nights in October '12 And had a great stay. Our hosts, Pete and Steve couldn't have been more hospitable. We had a very comfortable and immaculately clean twin room on the first floor. We were in the perfect location to explore the north shore of Blackpool. Would definitely recommend and will almost certainly visit again.

Can't fault our experience. Large room, modern and clean bathroom, great facilities in room, lovely warm welcome and exit, nice breakfast with plenty of variety (continental style) and a great central location but not noisy! Would recommend and will stay again. Run by two great guys.

Thank you both for your kind review. We are glad you liked the room and breakfast provided. We noticed you commented on the size of your room (which was one of our regular doubles) being large, well maybe next time you should book one of our King-size or Premier rooms which are much bigger.

We hope you stay with us again soon, if so please check out our Winter Offers shown on our website.
