“An Interesting, Factual and Fun Attraction!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

We visited Ripley's Blackpool as a family of four as my children have always wanted to go.
In our travel lodge the leaflets for Ripleys contained vouchers, so we only paid £20 for two adults and two children which I would say was about right in terms of cost.
If you have never been to a Ripley's, its basically the account of a world wide traveller who came across the curious and incredible on his world wide journeys. So there are exhibits including models, photographs and interactive displays of all he has seen and found. For instance, a life size model of the worlds tallest man, fattest man, shrunken heads optical illusions and puzzles to take part in.
My children aged 13 and 11, really enjoyed it as its so interesting and unusual.
Its not big attraction but you can spend a good hour here and it appeals to all ages. set on two floors with a steep flight of steps means I am unsure of disabled access. Although there may be a lift?
Look for vouchers on-line or in flyers to get best value and enjoy your visit!

“Can't wait to return! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

We bought a resort pass on our recent trip to Blackpool but ripleys wasn't included in the price unfortunately. But we had a voucher to get in cheaper so thought we would give it a go - so pleased we did!
The staff on the reception were so friendly and chatted to us and our children for a while.
It was a great exhibition inside, some wonderful, and very weird, things inside. Our children were fascinated and learnt a lot!
The gift shop at the end was Ok, our boys wanted a slap wrist watch and it wasn't until we got back to the hotel that we realised they didn't work, the second hand was jammed on them both and just kept ticking back and forth but that's not the attractions fault.
The woman working in the gift shop, Katie, spent ages talking to out daughter also named Katie and they had a giggle.
All in all, fantastic staff and fantastic attraction can't wait to come back.

“not much too it”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2014

was ok, but would only visit if i were at the shows, it wasnt worth cost of the tickets but if you were at the funfair then i believe its part of the wrist band. Felt once youve been once theres no point going back. we got round it in less than 30 minutes?

“Interesting...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

A lot of things to see and take in. Be warned, some of it is quite graphic and gruesome. The vortex was properly stomach churning, even though you know it is just an illusion. On the down side the entrance fee was quite high (£9 for adults).
