Owner description: The Grand Theatre was designed by Frank Matcham in 1894. This amazing space is a wonder of restoration and revival, presenting a full range of every performing artform, as Blackpool's community theatre, Lancashire's preferred opera house and Britain's National Theatre of Variety.

Very ornate and lovely theatre, staff very friendly and helpful. Seating was comfortable and the sound was excellent. There is a Bar where you can enjoy a drink before the show, toilets were clean conveniently located. Highly recommended.

I have visited the Grand several times and it is a lovely place.

I went the other Saturday to see Jason Manford and the place was sold out.

Unfortunately the Grand Theatre appears to be run by people who do not understand the concept of crowds.

It was raining in Blackpool but they would not let people into the Theatre util 'after 7:30'

The circle bar was packed out and they had two people serving, with only one till working and then they ran out of change.

The Matcham bar was even busier and they only had one person working.

The tollets are extremely busy.

There is no concept that the place will be full of people or accomodated for.

The theatre is lovely, & all seats have a good clear view due to the gentle tiers. This was a one off so it was more expensive than I would usually expect but what an experience. Transfixed from beginning to end, & subtitles above the stage were welcome but not intrusive.

Went here at the weekend to see Jason Manford.
What a lovely theatre it is! Very well maintained and the staff were very professional and courteous.
Good to see an old theatre still upholding old fashioned values and keeping the theatre alive....
