Stayed at The Boston last weekend travelling with Blackpool promotions again...Decided to try larger hotel and after reading good reviews for The Boston we booked. The hotel is nice, the rooms are small but clean and quite modern although I was shocked that fresh towels were not provided everyday (the towels provided on arrival had to last fri-mon) I did not find all the staff friendly to be honest...Gary the manager was pleasant but other staff could be quite abrupt! The young slovakian waitress who served us in dining room was lovely and friendly. The food was fab (compliments to the chef) and tram passes are a definite bonus. We didn't bother with the entertainment but it was so loud you heard it in the room!
I've rated very good as it's good value for money but I'm afraid The Boston not the hotel for us...bit too busy and noisy.

Room Tip: one that drowns the noise out

This was my first time staying at the Boston hotel and it most definitely will not be the last.
The staff are extremely helpful and go out of there way to make sure that your stay is perfect.
The food was fantastic and there was plenty of choice on offer.
Rooms were immaculate and were cleaned to a very high standard.

I would most definitely recommend this hotel to families and also to couples and groups travelling to Blackpool. The hotel is in an ideal location and has a beautiful decked area to sit out in when the weather is nice.

We stayed here last week, fri-fri. We stayed in room 114 which is above the lounge so you can hear all the entertainment which we didn't mind but if you like to go to sleep early you might struggle. The room itself was clean and tidy with a lovely shower room and comfy beds. The staff are all friendly and make you feel very welcome, they are very hard working and are always happy to help and are very approachable. The meals are all delicious and filling, we didn't find anything we didn't like. There are tram/bus stops right outside the hotel which get you anywhere you want to go and having the travel pass as well means you can hop on and off trams/buses all day and save a fortune. We booked through Blackpool Promotions which meant everything was taken care of, travel, hotel and attraction passes in one payment at the time of booking, we would do this again. We really enjoyed our stay at The Boston and would definitely recommend it for anyone thinking about a holiday in Blackpool. We will be back :)

Room Tip: Like I said in the review in our room, 114, you could hear all the entertainment so if you are a lig...

Had a good stay here food was excellent and the young waiter who served us was brilliant but older foreign head waiter was very arrogant and rude.We actually heard him call another family's kids pigs as they made a mess eating !!! But overall a good hotel for the money we paid

We thoroughly enjoyed ourstay at the hotel. We have twins and they could be a little rowdy at times but the staff were always very friendly towards them. The manager was great, always on hand to help.

There were 5 of us at this hotel last weekend for a short break had a great time despite the awful weather, when we booked they were pretty full didnt have a room for three left however they accommodated with a fold away bed for our 5 year old which she just loved, meals were good as was the entertainment oh and the bingo.
We paid extra for a sea view which was worth it had a little sitting area which the fold away bed was put so plenty room.
Got free tram tickets for the whole time of our stay which was well worth it as we were never off them would have cost us £2 each had we had to pay.
Only thing I would say onthe negative side is that they need fans or Air conditioning. In the rooms, very warm had to keep the windows open.
Would definitely return though.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view

I'm surprised at this hotel getting so many 5 stars ,there's nothing majorly wrong it's all just a bit tacky ,I didn't luck out and get an upgraded room so maybe that doesn't help but being sat at a table with other people when I want a table for 2 doesn't suit me ,meals were a bit meh hotel was busy so really noisy ,as I say nothing major but there's better and cheaper in blackpool for me
