Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the Mardi Gras. We stayed 15th-17th feb. We had a lovely warm greeting and hit the bar straight away, good selection of drinks and great banter.

Rooms were great, plenty of space and the beds were so comfy. Went back to tbe bar before going into town but stayed longer than intended cos it was so much fun, very relaxed atmosphere and good tunes

Would have loved to spend some time in the bar on the Sunday night but it was shut....I guess everyone needs a night off so I wont hold it against ya haha

Breakfast was good everything you need after a night in the town

We even managed to keep our room late for a VERY small extra payment as our train wasn't till later that day.

All in all we all had an amazing time and will definitely stay here again when next in Blackpool....if you'll have us

Oh and your cat is the cutest....was gonna try and put him/her in my case but thought you might miss him/her haha

Keep up the good work guys

Offers exceptional value for money. The room was very clean and quiet, the bar was great, the staff were really friendly and breakfast was good. Great location for all of Blackpool's venues. We'll come again!

Dirty run down back street B&B they seem to have spent money on the bar area with their little disco set up but not on the bed rooms for what we paid we expected a much higher standard but typical of gay venue they are getting it wrong

It seems to me that someone didn't get their valentines cards and gifts this year, and quite honestly I can see why. I am not going to explain to you the amount that has been spent on this guest accommodation in the 8 years we have been here, and when I read the many reviews complementing the hard work, I and the team put into providing excellent customer service, exceptional cleanliness, together with a warm and friendly environment, that is what we do here and and we get pleasure from those reviews. I personally see yours as a waste of your time if you had of went into more detail with your experience or even spoke to me or a member of my team we may of been able to rectify any issue you seemed to have, we have a policy of asking on departure if guests enjoyed their stay with us this would of been a perfect time to voice your concerns, but people like you who cannot voice their opinions and would rather opt for a rather basic review that says nothing will not be missed from this guest accommodation or any of the other venues that you have left bad reviews on.

My partner and I and 2 friends fancied a change for New Year and decided on Blackpool. As we had stayed at Mardi Gras before it was our first choice. We booked 2 double rooms and we were on our way!!
We were met by Steve and Lee and made very welcome and shown to our rooms. We quickly got showered and changed and met in the bar where we thought we would have a couple of drinks then head into town. But ....... the atmosphere in the bar was electric with a great mix of people, and Lee playing a great selection of music, so we stayed in the bar all night...... And then a very good quality FREE buffet came out!! What a fantastic surprise and a great gesture from our hosts!! The bar stayed open until the last people left and a good night was had by all!!!
We even made it to breakfast which was delicious and good quality ....... Highly recommended Hotel!!
After talking to Steve that night we decided to book a week in their new venture...'MARDI GRAS GRAN CANARIA' ....... what can I say? A private Villa with a pool and roof terrace for sunbathing, Breakfast included ...... and we were treated more like family than guests. We only arrived home last night and have already booked 2 weeks in November!!! The price even included transfers to and from the airport!! We had a fantastic week with 2 lovely guys and can't wait to return in November. 5 star luxury.....thanks guys!!!!

My partner and I arrived with our 1 year old Scottish Terrier on Friday 4th January 2014. We were due to stay for 2 nights but had to cancel our weekend after a few hours as our stubborn dog would not settle in strange surroundings. This was no fault of the staff at Mardi Gras Hotel, in fact when I explained the situation to the manager he could not have been more helpful and understanding. We stay here regularly and have always found this hotel to be first class. We will be returning soon but leaving our dog in Newcastle! On leaving I also left my iPad in a drawer in the room. I only realised this when we were almost back to Newcastle. I telephoned the hotel and Luke explained that he would take it to the post office and return it recorded delivery to my home address. First class service from a first class hotel. See you all soon (minus the dog!)
