Te staff were great and very welcoming , Breakfeast was good ,And the rooms were very clean Acept the cleaner forgot to see a tablet on the floor and my 13 month old son was trying to eat it , But the Hotels response to this was good , The other problem we had was getting the buggy in and out of the hotel as we was blocked in by a mini bus , I would recomend this hotel just not to people with young Kids

We booked a short break in Blackpool at the St. Albans. On arrival we where met by the owner, who was extremely pleasant and welcoming. After booking in and being shown around the ground floor , we where directed to our room.
The room was everything we had ask for , ( we booked through late-rooms )..I had ask for a sea view, which is what we got.
The room was spacious with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. It was clean and well presented. The hospitality tray was well stocked with tea/coffee etc.
After a good nights sleep , in a very comfortable bed, we went for breakfast the next morning. The service was second to none, and the breakfast was well cooked and plentiful , with every need and taste catered for .
In the evening they open their own bar area, where you can buy a good selection of drinks including draft lager. A pool table is there for your gaming pleasure.Sandwiches can be ordered if you are a little peckish in the evening. The atmosphere is excellent.
They have their own car parking area, which in Blackpool is a great addition to any Hotel/B&B
While we where out during the day , I was amazed to find that the beds had been made and the hospitality tray replenished. Something you would expect from a much higher star rating.
A wonderful touch , along with everything else that this hotel has to offer , this a wonderful experience and we shall be staying there again in 2013.
The host's Allen and Carole are two of the nicest people and they both will do anything feasibly possible to make your stay no matter how short a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Tell them what you want and they will make sure that you get it .

I've never stayed in Blackpool before. We received a warm welcome on the Friday night and were handed the TV remotes upon our arrival. Our room was compact and very clean.
When I sat on the 3/4 bed I thought sheesh this is hard but I had the best night's sleep for a long time.
Breakfast was excellent in a comfortable if somewhat dated dining room. Again our hostess was very amiable providing Lancashire humour coupled with efficient and notorious (?) attention.
Our second night was much more eventful with the fire alarm sounding a few times and a hall / landing holding pattern experiencing a free cabaret act; involving the night porter and drunken random by-passer who proceeded to bash down the outer door, eventually breaking the glass. We returned to our rooms and slept soundly.
I'd stay again because the hosts can't be held responsible for, nor did they book our second night's entertainment.
