Arrived at McHalls on 31/12/2013. Parked on the front. Danny as usual very welcoming and to my travelling companion Mark. The hotel full and a mixed bunch of people bearing in mind its closeness to the gay area in Blackpool. As usual the décor and rooms are value for money even at this time of year when they are all slightly inflated prices. Breakfast excellent with cereal and gilled breakfast available. The evening meals offered where good value for money and seasonal. I will look to stay there again when staying overnight in Blackpool.

Room Tip: Rooms on lower floor would be better for th9ose with mobility problems.

I would recommend this lovely hotel.
It is very cute, the staff are very helpful and the food is delicious. All round a brilliant stay and would definitely go back.

The location is just round the corner from funny girls which is 'a must' if you are visiting Blackpool. :-)

Had a fantastic stay here over two night, as a group of five in three rooms. Upon arrival the outside looked well maintained, clean and very welcoming, Danny the host was very welcoming, helpful and chatty, the inside had a very warm and homely feel checking in was simple and fun. The rooms where all Clean and very modern, although al little small but fun. Breakfast was hot and tasty with lots of tea and coffee flowing host was very attentive making real conversations. A fantastic place to stay. Thanks for a super stay

4 single rooms booked for 4 males. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable.

Nothing is a problem for your host Dan.

The breakfasts are first class with lots to choose from. Full English and Cereal and Toast.

We never had an evening meal but it did smell lovely and it is number 1 on the trip advisor restaurants we later found out.

We will be booking this hotel again in several months time.

It's a little gem.

Room Tip: Been on both sides of the Hotel and in both you get a good nights sleep.

Yet another lovely stay at McHalls, the meal in the bistro on Saturday evening was the best, great atmosphere and excellent home made food ( especially the Thai chicken curry ). We hope to visit again soon, thanks again to Dan and Gavin for making us so welcome

First time we have stayed at this wonderful hotel and it will now be the only place that we'll stay when in Blackpool. From the moment that we arrived till the moment that we left everything was perfect. Danny is a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble for him. He extended a very warm welcome and always referred to us by our names from the moment that he asked us what they were. The hotel has a relaxed feel about it and we were made to feel very much at home. The bar/lounge area has large comfortable sofas where we were able to chill and enjoy a drink or two from the well stocked bar which was also reasonably priced. The standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel were exceptional which included our well appointed rooms. We ate Sunday lunch at the hotel Bistro and the food and service were superb. Gavin who runs the kitchen is certainly an excellent chef and this even extends to homemade jams and marmalade which are served at breakfast. We had a great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it as the only place to stay in Blackpool if you are looking for a warm welcome, superb service and food. Thanks Danny for making the four of us feel so welcome and thank you Gavin for keeping us so well fed throughout our stay.
