We have a yearly pilgrimage from Hull to a day at pleasure beach and usually a meal at one of the rubbish cafés on the front were we spend about £30 on food we regret eating so this year I used trip advisor to find a better eating establishment and the velvet coaster was spot on I had the largest double burger meal with chips Onion rings and a pint of cider in the price , misses had chicken burger with trimmings drink included 2 boys had pizzas which looked good and largest son had burger meal with cordials the place is busy and was 30 mins wait but that was ok because we needed a break from rides and normally we walk down to the tower but this bar is literally next to pleasure beach we all loved the food and the bill was great st only £44 for the lot and that's with an extra couple of beers so will be back again next October

this pub restaurant is very good, they have a good menu, each day has one meal that is the meal of the day, like a curry day, but you can still order anything else from the menu, you do not have to have the special, the chicken, gammon etc. for one extra £1 you can have 2 chicken breast's or too 5oz gammons, your drink what ever you have (pint, coke ,tea , coffee) comes in the price of your meal, the service is brilliant, staff very friendly and believe it or not they are not allowed to accept tips, I know this because I tried to tip them and I was politely told, tips or not allowed.

This is a new Wetherspoons bar on the front at Blackpool. Its quite spectacular, a huge building on by the pleasure beach, apparently named after the very first roller coaster in Blackpool. We visited 3 times in a week. We had brilliant weather and each time we sat on the rooftop area (there is an area up here for smokers too) With the sun shining we could have been in Spain it was beautiful. The food as always in Wetherspoons is cheap and cheerful, no complaints, great menu with daily deals. Worth a visit.

We went to this restaurant three times within five days. The food was amazing...the pitchers of cocktails even better and good value. The toilets were spotless. We sat upstairs but the smell coming from wood burning stove was lovely

Weekend break to Blackpool and came across this spoons opposite the south pier. Very impressive decor. Fantastic views overlooking the sea. Good selection of ales too. Will definitely return next time in Blackpool.
