Got a £29 double room on a winter deal when visiting friends for a night out with my partner. Located next to the train station and at the top end of Granby St, which takes you into the city centre a few mins walk. Very spacious room, quiet, great shower, comfy bed & flatscreen freeview tv. Perfect for a city visit and amazing value. Will stay here again even when the offer is not on as this is worth more money in comparison to other city budget hotels we have stayed in.

What I look for in short stays is convenience. We all know what we get from a Premier Inn but the location of the Leicester city centre one is one of the best - especially for the rail station. All the places I needed to attend were easily within walking distance.

Really nice clean new hotel. Location is great for shopping and nightlife. Parking was free and the food is good (can recommend all you can eat breakfast) and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are exceptional in the way they treat you, very helpful and accommodating. One drawback tho, when booking would recommend asking about the bed if u prefer a soft or medium one as ours was like a concrete slab! If anybody fell back on it like in adverts they would end up in hospital! :-) when we complained we were offered free breakfast which was lovely. All in all tho would definitely recommend it and will be back again.

Premiere Inn Leicester was a comfortable choice and I am glad I chose it because the ladies who served breakfast were fantastic and that compensated for the not so great cooked breakfast. My mother also felt comfortable and had one of her best 2 nights in terms of sleep because the beds were so comfortable. Great location as well for city visits.

This hotel is a budget hotel. It lives up to what it is. Everything is rather built so the room rate can be cheaper. This isn't shocking with the price and the image.

To avoid a better rating, I had a couple issues.

1. Parking. It is underground and not guaranteed. Most times it is full so you will have to pay 6 pounds for parking overnight.
2. Breakfast. Although it is buffet at 8.25 pounds it is rather expensive. There are cheaper and better options in the downtown area then to eat at the hotel.
3. The TV lacks a full channel list. My main issue was with sport channels as they were not part of the TV package they get.
4. Bathroom supplies. No facial issue. No bar soap. Everything is based on pumps which mine never really worked that well. I ended up using my soap I brought to the hotel for everything.

Other than that it is a good hotel. It is definitely worth a stay if on a budget.
