Ideal spot for an inner city night out.
Wasn't overly impressed with postcode for sat-nav as it can only be approached from one-direction. Car park is also a labyrinth and was asked to go and relocate car due to poor signage of dedicated PI bays. Getting in and out via the lifts is also a hassle at busy times.
Check in was ok otherwise but glad we were only staying one night; the room was a little smaller than normal PI ones and really poor natural light. Otherwise clean, tidy and temperature ok.
Didn't take kindly to being woken up by noise at 7am. We were on 7th floor and disturbed on a Saturday morning firstly by hammering, then drilling. No chance of getting back to sleep for a weekend lay-in.
After a good breakfast in their restaurant, we checked out, informing Reception of the noise. The girl was a bit defensive at first (as if we were having a go at her) but we explained that a) we didn't expect noise on the 7th floor and b) certainly not on a Saturday morning. The girl then said she would refund the money - I was really surprised and think this is a great approach. Perhaps if we had been on a lower floor, the works above may not have been an issue?
