Couldn't fault really. Aircon in the room worked. Clean enough room and bathroom. Nice pillows. Friendly staff who can't do enough to please. Free car park (my jeep had literally 6 inches left in each side :-) the spaces were that small, but it was free, just head for lower ground marked Premier Inn). Enough choices for breakfast, was happy to pay the £8.75 as had a long drive ahead of us. And COSTA coffee.

Well done guys. We have had much inferior experience at double the cost at other establishments.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room

Ideal spot for an inner city night out.

Wasn't overly impressed with postcode for sat-nav as it can only be approached from one-direction. Car park is also a labyrinth and was asked to go and relocate car due to poor signage of dedicated PI bays. Getting in and out via the lifts is also a hassle at busy times.

Check in was ok otherwise but glad we were only staying one night; the room was a little smaller than normal PI ones and really poor natural light. Otherwise clean, tidy and temperature ok.

Didn't take kindly to being woken up by noise at 7am. We were on 7th floor and disturbed on a Saturday morning firstly by hammering, then drilling. No chance of getting back to sleep for a weekend lay-in.

After a good breakfast in their restaurant, we checked out, informing Reception of the noise. The girl was a bit defensive at first (as if we were having a go at her) but we explained that a) we didn't expect noise on the 7th floor and b) certainly not on a Saturday morning. The girl then said she would refund the money - I was really surprised and think this is a great approach. Perhaps if we had been on a lower floor, the works above may not have been an issue?

Room Tip: Ask about any works on floors above!

Hotel is literally just around the corner from the Railway station. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to city centre and major sightseeing. The New Walk and Museum is just 5 minutes away. There is a small local Sainsburys just across the road. There is some work going on at front of building but as we stayed on Bank Holiday weekend this was all quiet. Welcome, and check in was quick and friendly. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of hot and cold food. Room was modern with the new Hynos beds, though my friend being a bit short found it a little awkward climbing in and out of bed!
The building was a former BT building and had an odd pillar in the room which was part of the original structure, we thought it was a cupboard to begin with.!
The quickest route into centre is along Granby Street, which was fine in daylight but would be a bit wary after dark as there were some odd looking characters hanging about .
Overall I would really recommend this hotel .

Stayed here over a long weekend. The hotel Was comfortable and standard. I guess what you see is what you get and you can't really argue with that! Lady on the desk was lovely! And breakfast was really good - unlimited bacon and eggs were lovely. I do find that the hotels are somewhat reminiscent of college halls and a bit american bland, but all in all it was very decent value and we would probably stay in another PI hotel again given the price and good location.

I found the hotel faultlessly clean and tidy and was ideally placed for my train journey the next morning as it is only a 100 yrds from the station (stayed 1 night). Also the need to use your room card to access the floors was a good idea especially as the front lobby doors were permanently open in day light hours during my stay. Breakfast was adequate/ ok though a tad over priced as I know another hotel in Leicester that offers the same breakfast for 50% of Premiers price.

I don't know how Premier manage to offer such good accommodation so much cheaper than just about anywhere else but they do! Superb (very large) room, great bar & restaurant, friendly staff, easy parking underneath (free), a great night's sleep & dead close to the town centre. What more can you ask?

My family and I stayed at this Premier Inn at the weekend on a Saturday Night. We were a bit worried initially about being able to get parking in the reserved spacing for about 60 cars, as we arrive at the hotel about 4.30pm. Luckily there were a couple of spaces left. There was a door directly in basement car park leading up to the reception of the Premier Inn. You do have to walk a little bit. All the receptionists were very efficient and helpful. All the rooms had air-conditioning as the hotel is on 9 floors hence you could not open any of the windows. Breakfast was excellent. All in all a very base for the centre of Leicester.
