This restaurant is close to a Premier Inn and was very busy on a Friday evening. We had booked a table for four and, arriving early, we were served drinks in the bar area to wait. It was comfortable enough, although we rather felt as though we were intruding on some family gathering for a while. However, our table was ready at the appointed time and we were seated in a very dark corner. The menu is typical of a Pub-chain - but happy to say that the food was tasty, served hot and there was plenty of it. (Good value too, with special offers available) More than can be said for the bottle of white wine we ordered that was served warm............... However, our waitress was happy to provide a supply of ice cubes which did manage to reduce the temperature a little - but also managed to dilute the wine............. Service was good on a busy night. If you fancy a quiet, romantic evening, go elsewhere as this is definitely a child-friendly establishment. There is an indoor play area - a boon for busy parents with boisterous youngsters! Our companions were full of praise for the Premier Inn - said it was clean, quiet and convenient.
