Stayed for a day. Good location. Plenty of shops nearby. Cheerful staff. Plentiful breakfast options. Pool and sauna. Great value. Is certainly the first place I'd like to stay on my next visit.

The hotel is close to leicester city centre so there is some traffic noise but it wasn't too terrible. The staff are polite and courteous but not the most efficient I have dealt with. The rooms tend to be large and well equipped but the hotel has a rather strange set up on the eight floor. Half of the floor has smoking rooms and half non-smoking. I find this really odd. As a non-smoker I found the smell in my room absolutely disgusting. Even though it was a non-smoking room the smell drifted down the corridor and within ten minutes of being there I had to ask to be moved to a completely non-smoking room. I understand hotels having smoking rooms but I really cannot understand why the would have them on the same floor as non-smoking rooms. The food is quite good but the room service menu is really not inspiring at all. The beds are comfortable and the reception and bar clean. The charge for Internet access is fairly high too but I have to say this hotel us far better than most in Leicester city centre.

Stayed here a twice when in Leicester for work. On both occasions had a large, clean, modern room with everything I needed which felt luxurious and airy. Efficient check-in and check-out.

Not much character or warmth as you'd expect in a modern chain hotel but good for what it is. Excellent windows minimise traffic noise but you do get some as is a very busy area and a little noise pollution from other rooms.

Only meal I had there was breakfast of fruit and cereal which was excellent and good service.

Huge comfy beds, selection of pillow types, nice toiletries, ample facilities (hair dryer/iron/trouser press/mini bar/kettle/air con), decent size rooms, powerful showers.

Only downside is the bizarre roundabout location. The traffic noise didn't bother me, but I did use ear-plugs.

We often stay at this hotel when visiting family in the area. It's exterior and position in the middle of a roundabout does not do justice to what you find inside the hotel. We always have a good stay here. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious and the Holiday Inn promise of a comfortable sleep never fails. are Breakfast is fantastic and worth paying extra for. In fact the only negative thing I can say about the hotel is the coffee served with breakfast-very poor. But hey as a coffee drinker I am even willing to drink tea to stay there. Oh nearly forgot the added bonus of leisure facilities!

After reading some of the reviews on the holiday inn, I was a bit worried as I was attending a family wedding. When we got to the hotel was pleasantly surprised as the staff were very helpful and rooms were perfect

Stayed one night in an executive room after depatching son to Uni. We had an executive room which was a very good size with huge, comfotable bed, choice of medium/ soft pillows, tea, coffee, sofa bed, desk and leather chair. Bathroom good with nice choice of toiletries. Very pleased with the price with was booked through Quidco cashback. We found the room quiet even though it is on a busy roundabout and really easy to walk into Leicester City Centre where there is a huge choice of restaurants. Only noise was that we could hear our neighbours talking in the next room.
Breakfast was OK, very busy, we arrived at 9.30 am on sunday morning and the buffet was rather depleted but there was still a good choice.
Would stay again when we return to collect son at some point. Consider using the health spa next time which we didn't hae time to do.
