Really great atmosphere at the Tigers, food good too. Yes the staff are slow sometimes but think they are new to the job, as they change frequently, but they are polite and helpful. Rooms are really nice and the corporate packages are good with guest speakers. A really good day out for all.

If you enjoy the game of rugby union then you can't go far wrong going to see the Tigers play. The stadium itself has three modern stands, the largest of which is the GNC stand, which are well laid out and easy to negotiate. The Holland & Barrett is a good old fashioned stand with benches in the seated area and concrete steps for the standing support. It maybe slightly behind the times and can be a bit of a squeeze but definitely has the best atmosphere on match days and seems to attract the real die hard fans. Just bring something soft to sit on if you don't want a numb bum and be ready to take the odd knee in the back or elbow in the ribs as people takes their seats and go for half time drinks. On match days fans of both teams happily sit along side each other, with a good bit of banter but nothing you wouldn't be happy for your little children to be a part off. Games often have 18000+ fans in attendance and the atmosphere is excellent, especially the silence when a penalty / conversion is being taken. Be prepared to be shouted at if you break it! Some of the turnstiles on the older entrances are a bit of a squeeze for the larger people among us and although they add character, could probably do with replacing. There are many bars and ample toilets, which always seem to be as clean and as tidy as is possible when thousands of people are using them within such a short period of time. It can take some time for the stands to empty at the end of a match, especially the GNC, but again everyone is fairly sensible and I've never seen any issues. Turn up being prepared to hear the word 'Tigers' chanted a thousand times and to boo the referee and you'll have a fantastic day out.
