The usual Ibis room layout but unusually foam mattresses which I had thought previously were only used in Etap hotels. So not the most comfortable bed but more than adequate for a night's stay.

Room perfectly clean though decor a little worn but nothing horrendous. I'd stay again if I needed to visit Leicester and the location just by the station is great.

Stayed over night for works Christmas do at Athena - a 5 minute walk away so perfect location for Cultural Quarter.

Fairly easy to find (aim for Mercedes garage) and was lucky enough to get a parking space thanks to the nice lady on Reception which made my 3 trips to empty the car a whole lot easier...........

Room very clean and much like any other Ibis - basic but acceptable, especially considering I paid only £34. Receptionist efficient and pleasant and bar smelled of freshly cooked chips which was tempting but I managed to walk past without ordering - small bar/restaurant area but looked clean and tidy and fairly pleasant.

Everything worked in the room but really needed 4 pillows as small and thin - just my personal taste! Bathroom could have done with being a little larger as shower water soaked the whole floor which wasn't pleasant when using the loo but the water was hot and powerful and the two small towels provided were clean.

Not too much noise elsewhere which was a pleasant surprise for s city centre hotel in Christmas party season so sleep was pretty decent.

Check out fine - didn't do the all you eat breakfast for £7.50 as too hung over but no real problems at all.

For a night in a city centre hotel for £34 it did exactly what it said on the tin and the free parking was an extra bonus. If I need to stay in Leicester again and can get similar deal I will definitely use this hotel again without question - you get what you pay for ;-)

Hotel was as expected. Ideal for going into town for a night out. Parking fairly limited. Basic, neat and tidy room. Breakfast could have been better - lack of choice. Would use this hotel again, but not pay extra for breakfast.

The hotel is really near to the rail station (5 mins walk) and to the city centre (10-15 mins walk), so that makes it a convenient hotel for many people. It is 1/2 walk to the University of Leicester. So no need to take public transportation.
The staff is very nice, helpful and the hotel is clean. I was always treated nicely whenever I asked for anything.
Although, there are only a few things that I did not really like: 1) the bed and pillows are not soft enough; 2) the toilet paper was too rough; 3) carpets need to be cleaned more often. On the overall I would recommend the hotel for what concerns quality-price. In fact, I have decided to stay again next time I go to Leicester.

Hotel convenient for station and city centre and on inner ring road. Limited parking, but there are some single yellow lines just outside the hotel parking which are free between 6pm and & 7.30 and saved me a walk to a city centre multi-storey (and the cost).
Stayed 2 nights. Rooms basic, very clean with nice bathroom, warm and quiet (was a bit concerned about overlooking main road but couldn't hear it).
We ate in restaurant one evening; basic and restricted choice but fine. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Didn't buy from bar; did buy coffees whcih were very reasonable.
One minor niggle that no milk for in-room teamaking facility and phone didn't work but guess everyone has a mobile now!

When I booked this hotel, I had read quite a few bad reviews on Tripadvisor.
We had a great stay here. Hotel is basic, but it's clean, very very comfortable, and the shower was great! Rooms were spacious for two, and we had no problems at all with noise (we were overlooking the ring road). It's a 10 minute MAX walk to the centre of town, so that was easy, but as the hotel is also close to the station, taxi's and buses are easily available too.
Car park was TINY (we arrived at 3pm and took the last space), so that was about the only downside.
Staff were friendly enough, we didn't use the restaurant or bar at all, but prices looked pretty reasonable.
For the price you pay, it is defiintely a good place to stay for an overnight stop, if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower. Would recommend.

Room Tip: Request ring road side, as opposed to station, as we had a great nights sleep.

Stayed there for one night.
Hotel is located close to city centre and right beside Leicester railway station. It was not hard to find, but a piece of map in booking confirmation email would have been useful.

Room was nice, clean and comfortable with large double bed. As it was stated on their web site- room is suitable for two persons (and in that case price is really great).
My room was facing the railway station, but noise was minimal- not a problem at all for me. (I have to note that I checked very early, before most trains start running).

Overall- great budget hotel- clean, comfortable, great location and even better price.
