I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. I rung up previous to booking and asked if the wifi was free, i got told yes. On arrival found out it wasn't free, it was £9.99 and ran by a french company so any UK applications i tried to go on told meI had to be in the UK. The room was not to my satisfaction either, I could hear everything in and outside the hotel, and on top of that it the light from the corridor and the strret was pouring through the door and window. I got very little sleep. In closing the hotel has a poor location next to a train station, below par rooms, below par services i.e wifi and poor value for money. I'm struggling to decifer what i got for £44. I will not be using IBIS again, thnak you.

right next to the train station, and very close to all city centre shops, attractions, and nightlife. clean and comfortable, friendly service
one downside, if your window is open you can clearly hear all announcements on the station tannoy.
apart from that i will definitely stay again

Last minute stay in Leicester. Got lucky, I think, on the room rate when I 'phoned, ie the rate alters frequently based on occupancy. Our room was clean, quiet and warm - functional, of course, rather than luxurious or cosy. The shower pod was excellent. Again, no surprises that the public area is small and spartan but it does its job and you can get the basics.

Room Tip: Bit pot luck on the room rate but I guess that the earlier you call then the better chance you have...

Me and 3 of my friends stayed here for a night when we came over to leicester for a night out.
Location was fine, it didn't bother us that we could hear the trains being announced. When we arrived at reception the staff were miserable and came across rude, a smile wouldn't of hurt, they were very unhelpful. The room its self was ok. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fine. The following morning we were so hungover we were in need of some breakfast, at the cost of £8 we were really looking forward to it. Once again we had to put up with the miserable staff at reception. The breakfast was vile. The sausages looked and tasted like they had been on the buffet for a week, the bacon was in a load of fat and was awful and the scrambled egg was full of water. You could of caused damage to someone with one of the sausages. My friend complained to the grumpy receptionist and they slung some more out with a dirty look to go with it. When paying £8 for a breakfast i would expect edible food, this however i wouldn't of fed to a dead dog. We wouldn't stay here again!!!

Stayed for one night and as a budget end hotel the hotel is pretty good. The reception area has nice seating and the selection of bar snacks good. Were able to check in and leave bags before room ready and breakfast selection was better than many higher graded hotels. The bed was really comfy and were able to get a double bed unzipped to make 2 singles which was ideal. Ther is road noise but not enough to keep me awake and a car park really close. The bonus for us was having travelled by train it was only a few minutes walk to from and to the station. I would certainly consider staying there again and would recommend to anyone who does not want all the add ons but gets a lot for their money.

Room Tip: Note that they can unzip some of the double bed rooms to provide 2 single beds and disabled rooms av...

Close proximity to City Centre, excellent room facilities, very comfortable bed, only downside was the limited parking spaces available though a public car park was available within 100 metres of hotel. Would definitely use this hotel again if need arises.
