Sorry but The Pumping station was not well presented.
No displays were running and it was a gloriously hot day, The 2ft gauge railway engine was not out on display or the signs for it were badly placed, there were no signs for anything outside of the main building but I'm sure they have many items under cover.
My biggest complaint was the access to the upper area (the most interesting area) of the beam engine was restricted, it's about time this engine was powered with compressed air so that it could be run on a daily basis for the public, or have I missed something.
If you appreciate a nice selection of static displays then the museum does that nicely and that can't be faulted.
