Myself and a friend recently visited Gorse Hill and can't express how lovely it was. Free on entry but it is advised that you give a donation. Animal feed can be bought at 50p per bag. There was a variety of farm animals including the cute little lambs that have been born this spring. It is a small farm so you only need 1-2 hours to visit.

Only thing to say it that the entrance when driving there is a bit confusing as you have to drive across a pavement up to the road, but the farm is well sign posted.

Well worth a visit!

Great for a wander around, was lovely to see the animals. Prices Are very reasonable, although because people are trusted to pay a lot don't and therefore there was a lot of people who had foul language and behaviour. It's ok if you can switch off to that. Maybe enforcing payment would help. Think the owners and staff do a great job there. I would definatly avoid the cafe next door unless you like to smell of grease and chips, over priced for what it is and a bit of a dump. Cakes look full of colourings and artificial things, there is nothing else food wise so a picnic is the best option.

My three year old daughter loved this little farm. The usual farmyard suspects, plus a (muddy) play area, what more could a pre schooler ask for! We also ate in the cafe and found the food tasty and the service speedy and friendly. Well worth a visit.

Small and slightly scruffy, but then its a inner city farm. Staff are always excellent, food in the little cafe is well prepared, excellent quality and good value.
