Description: After a full renovation, the former Time Bar (located right next door to Leicester Train Station) is now open! The new name takes its inspiration from the building's original purpose as a sorting office and parcel yard for British rail.Come and join us in the relaxed new surroundings, with lots on offer including real ales, Great British fodder, all day brunch, coffees and fantastic lunches and evening meals.A great place to meet friends for a pre or post Tigers or Foxes matches. Ideal for meeting clients for a coffee. Fantastic new restaurant for birthday parties and family celebrations.Quote from Clive, a train commuter, "I purposely catch the later train now so I can enjoy the wonderful warm surroundings, a pint of great beer and a few tapas".

I really like that this pub has a live electronic train departures board at the bar- there have been plenty of occasions when I've had time to spare before my train and I've come in here to have a cheeky half while waiting (or a seasonal hot cider).
I've also been here for cocktails with colleagues (not too expensive, and their Pornstar Martinis are great), and for drinks with friends, and Sunday lunch. The vegetarian options were just one -one option- but they were able to rustle up a very tasty veggie burger on request. It's definitely better than your average Leicester pub and it doesn't tend to get too crowded. It's not studenty, but prices are reasonable. The decor works well in the repurposed space (it's an open, well lit bar area with skylight and empty champagne bottle light fittings while boots and bare red brick pay homage to its midland railway roots). Definitely worth heading into for a quiet drink on London Road- it doesn't get too loud, which is condusive to conversation. I met my boyfriend in here...

4 pensioners ate here on Saturday evening.Bronwen the waitress was very pleasant knowledgeable and on the ball. However although the 2 men both had fish and chips which were very good the 2 ladies both chose the special which was lasagne which proved to be poorly cooked and was cold in the middle. Although it was replaced with another one and Bronwen struck it off the bill it took the edge off the meal, which was a celebration. We also thought the music was a trifle too loud. Regrettably we will not return.

I regularly drink and eat here, I love the place I have done since the time bar days. It's nice all year round especially in the summer. They have a massive selection of drinks. This is one of Leicestershires finest places!

I've been here a few times now - the quality of the food is excellent, they apparently go for locally sourced ingredients, and the service has always been friendly. The menu is a little limited for an evening place - I'd say it's more a lunchtime place doing very good pub food.
