To be fair I only booked this hotel for one night as a bed to sleep in and a place to have a shower because it was close to De Montfort Hall where I was going last night to a Stereophonics concert. It's another case of a hotel being awarded 3 stars because it had an en suite, a tv, coffee making facilities and a hairdryer but the basics which really count were poor. The bed was terrible you could feel each and every spring, the pillows were I assume made from concrete or similar. We had to unblock the shower drain hole as it filled up to the rim during a quick shower. I have never had deep fried bacon before and I don't ever want it again, I declined the rest of the full english breakfast apart from scrambled egg and didn't finish that.
The staff were friendly enough, you could adjust the heating and you could park, for the rest, sorry wouldn't ever go again or recommend it to an enemy let alone a friend.More
