The service was terrible although the waitress we eventually summoned over was very nice and brought the two starters within the ten minutes stated. The wait for the rest of the meal was long, although after the first hour, we thought it must be good as we have waited so long. Well, we waited and waited and then summoned the waitress who had served us over, she was just finishing her shift but said she would ask how long our meal would be and before she left she came over and assured her we were the next to be served. So again, we waited and waited some more. When the meal eventually arrived, one of our guests had to go as she could not wait any longer, so the manager commented that we need not pay for her meal and left it for us. The meals were not very good, although the pasta one of the guests had no complaints. I had chicken kebabs with peppers, onions and salad and sweetcorn. The meal was not piping hot, only about four pieces of chicken, the sweetcorn was good, although luke-warm (but you really cannot do much harm with sweetcorn), but the salad was slimy and uneatable. The two guests who had the lettuce, pepper and avocado pitta bread only found lettuce in them, no sign of any avocado or much in the way of peppers, so again disappointing. The manager offered us a 25% discount and did offer us coffees, teas or deserts, but we had spent so long waiting for our order, we could not wait any longer. Sorry Frankie & Benny's with so much competition on your doorstep, you need to do improve drastically. Just a word to say we were not the only customers who complained.
