Firstly the food - very good & tasty. Dessert platter was a bit samey, 3 mini portions all very similar texture. Reasonable value for money.
Now the staff - not very hospitable. We went in early Sunday evening, no one else in the restaurant when we arrived. The waiter (possibly the manager), asked us if we’d been before & went on to begrudgingly explain the new menu, introduced a few months ago. Wasn’t at all accommodating when my partner wanted a potato dish that wasn’t on the same part of the menu as his main. He didn’t offer any guidance on which veg would go with the dish I’d chosen. Very aloof. The young girl who brought our meals was very pleasant. Another older waiter spent the whole time talking to a group of customers who came in a little after us. Seemed like regulars were welcome. Walk-ins, like us, not so much.
