House move circumstances led us to stay at the hotel (westfield) for nearly 6 months, What could we say about the restaurant without upsetting anyone ?. Several chef changes during our stay, Sam the trainee and the current head chef are by far the best, in fact Sam cooks an amazing duck dish which everyone should try at least once. The new manager has her work cut out to get this restaurant back to the standards it once was and if anyone can do it she will. Good staff, very loyal considering the conditions they endure, nothing is ever too much trouble. With the right ingredients and time this will be a nice little eating place. 6 months of the same menu was too much for us, but we will miss the friendly staff and daily banter. If you live local you should give this place at least a couple of visits even if it is just to show local support.
