I stayed here for 1 night with 3 friends for a wedding. We had two twin rooms on the first floor. Room 12 & room 14.
The hotel is very cute, clean and staff are friendly. The hotel has amazing outdoor space, a full restaurant/ cafe and bar.
It's perfect for staying together in groups and/ or with friends. Our room (room 12) was quite small and dark with only 1 window but my other friends room (room 14) was large and bright with a fireplace and large bathroom. As you would expect with any older establishment in UK, all rooms are set out differently so the only thing I would say is if you can get a chance to view rooms before you choose, that would be ideal.

Other than that, the hotel is excellent. Beds are comfy and breakfast is made to order so is fresh and tasty.
Good value for money too. I would recommend.

We booked to stay for one night for my Son's Graduation from University of Lincoln, the ceremony was in the Cathedral which was less than a 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. We were delighted with the quality of the rooms and the staff were really friendly and helpful.Thought it was very good value for money and breakfast was first class.

Arrived very tired, and booking in was very fuss free. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and very pleasantly furnished. The rump steak from the bar menu (also has a restaurant) was the best steak I've had for a long time. Overall, a very welcoming and well run place, and located just a few minutes walk from the cathedral.

As the sun gets low in the sky go and clamber on the castle embankment opposite, and drink in the incredible view of warm stone of the cathedral front - you won't be disappointed.

This small hotel offers a good location for a city centre break, with parking available just across the road.A clean comfortable room with good bathroom. Friendly staff. Breakfast was fine but nothing special.

Spent one night in this hotel as we just wanted to explore Lincoln for a day. Room was spacious and clean and breakfast was excellent.
Reception and bar staff were very helpful and the bar area extended outside to a covered patio area. This bar in this hotel is obviously very popular with locals and/or other visitors as it was busy throughout the entire afternoon and night we stayed there (Saturday) and food served in bar and restaurant was lovely - great value too. The atmosphere here was better than many other pubs we visited that night.
It is within walking distance of city albeit down Steep Hill and we also visited waterfront area (take a taxi if you dont want to climb hills) which has a great variety of eateries and pubs.
We'd definitely go back to Tower hotel as it represents excellent value for money and is next door to castle and adjacent to lovely shopping area. Nice choice for a weekend break

Very pleasant seating area to the rear for soaking up the sun before lunch.A simple one course lunch from the bar menu and served in the restaurant. Service spot on and had 13 meals on the table at the same time....something which doesn't always happen!
