Always so clean, tidy, welcoming, friendly and lovely views. You couldn't ask for anything more, ice available down stairs to bring up, just the thing when its hot. Ice cold water. Free breakfast, which always seems fine.

Lovely! Never had any problems.

We were welcomed warmly. Our room was fine and everything worked. We don't mind the small parking charge as this is normal for Holiday Inn Express these days. It's just a short walk up into town where we were spoiled for choice for dinner , though chain restaurants predominate. (By the way, the evensong at the Cathedral is brilliant - we just wandered in by mistake and sat down. It doesn't last much more than 30 minutes and they don't seem to mind if you are a bit slow in the sitting down/standing up routines).
Everything was as expected in the hotel, so we were very happy with our stay.

This great hotel is let down by the price of the car park. Last year we got a reduction for being priority club members, this year we had to pay full price!!!!! It is not exactly city centre, so why any charge at all? Breakfast would be improved if there was bacon instead of (or as well as) sausage. The sausage is not up to holiday inn standards and cheap bacon tastes better than cheap sausage!!! Despite the criticisms, still a pleasant, clean hotel

Thank you for your review of the hotel, I’m sorry you feel let down at the parking charge unfortunately with parking in the city at a premium, making a charge that is discounted for our resident’s means we are able to offer our guest a convenient location to park when staying with us. As with all the other hotels in the city also charging for parking and many without the luxury of a car park on site.
We did offer a local benefit of discounted parking for our Priority Club members recently the group has realised there were many hotels doing their “own thing” and our members did not know what if any “extra” benefits they would receive at each hotel, this has now been standardised across all our hotels with our gold members being offered the choice of a complimentary drink or bonus points and our platinum level member’s a drink and snack or bonus points.

We wanted an overnight stay in Lincoln and based upon other reviews chose this hotel. The hotel was clean, the room spacious and comfortable and, facing over the car park, was quite quiet. The staff were very helpful, providing us with a map and tips on what to see and the location is good for Brayford Pool and the city centre. Breakfast was very good compared to some other hotel chains. Would stay here again if we return to Lincoln.

Having booked a family room, I was pleasantly surprised at the standards in this hotel. The room was spacious enough for all four of us and the air con was fantastic as we arrived on the hottest day of the summer! Great location and staff were very helpful. Room was clean, and everything worked! Shower room configuration worked very well - you could partition the shower/toilet areas - ideal when you have a family!
Breakfast was okay - better than I has expected and did set us up for the day!
Overall, a great place to stay to explore Lincoln.
