Very good quality B&B with great breakfast, helpful owners and a short stroll to city centre.

My wife and I stayed for 3 days while on a visit to Lincoln doing family tree reasearch. The proprietors were friendly and helpful, giving us advice on places to visit and best car parking places and allowed us to use their wireless internet. The guest house was in a quiet, interesting street, with breakfast-time views of horses walking from the nearby common in the mornings. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Lincoln.

I tend to judge a good BnB by the breakfast and I wasn’t disappointed...it was absolutely delicious and set me up for the day ahead.

My twin room was spotless, bright and airy and the beds were amazingly comfortable.

This place is excellent value for money and an ideal location for exploring the city centre.

It's always tricky to find a B&B if you've never been to a city before, but we hit the jackpot with Ivory Guest House. The B&B is a 10 minute walk into town, add another 5 mins if you're planning on going to the cathedral/caste as you have to walk up the infamous 'Steep Hill'! We didn't have a car so being able to walk from the station to the hotel, and easily walk into town was a real bonus, but it was also tucked away on a nice residential street so we weren't disturbed by the noise of the town. The room was very clean, and fairly large considering it was a twin. Comfortable beds and a well presented bathroom. Breakfast is either cereal and toast (fruit and yogurt also available), or cooked breakfast. We had cooked breakfast one morning and it was really nice. James and Sarah were very knowledgeable and happy to help with anything. Highly recommended!
