We went to see the name of my brother in laws uncle on the memorial. Unfortunately, it was raining so we did not spend long outside. However the tea and cake in the cafe were very good. I really think the car park fee should be included in entry fee.

Hello getaway_unknown

Thank you so much for your lovely review of the IBCC.

It can be pretty bleak by the walls when its raining. Hope fully it wont be too long, once its safe for the Centre to re open, so we can welcome you back in bright sunshine and you can see us at our best.

The cafe is wonderful and the majority of items are cooked on the premises.

You can pay for your car park in the centre if it is more convenient to do so.

Thank you again, best wishes

Beverley

My wife and I recently visited this fitting Memorial to the 55,000 air crew who gve their lives with Bomber Command, It is gradually developing and when it is finished it will a most peaceful place on top of a hill, with magnificent views of Lincoln Cathedral, which the pilots used as a reference when they returned from their missions over Germany.
We had the pleasure of viewing the Memorial Stone to my wife's father, which she had laid in the Ribbon of Remembrance

Hello Michael B

Thank you so much for leaving such descriptive review of the IBCC.

I fear we are missing the blooming spring plants and flowers, but I’m sure that once it’s safe to reopen we will begin to see the Centre at its best.

We are so pleased your wife and yourself we able to find the Memorial stone to her Father and have a few minutes of reflection over it.

We hope to be able to welcome you back again once its safe for the Centre to re open.

Beast wishes

This centre is well laid out and easy to access. A talk tonight about one man’s journey through a long career flying some iconic aircrafts. Second generation RAF as his father had done before him. A really interesting evening with a hot supper before the talk. With some great photos of a variety of aircrafts he led us from his time as a pilot from his time as an air cadet to the cascade of poppies over Buckingham Palace.
