“A must for classic Bus fans”

This is more than a museum, it's a preservation society. You can even look in their workshop to see the ongoing projects. If you are a "hands on" classic car or bus enthusiast you will have a great 2 or 3 hours here. It is extremely good value. The man that met us at the door was super friendly and even let our two little girls sit on an old bus... something they are still talking about!

Well worth the time to visit!

“Worth popping in!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2013

We visited here on a wet summer afternoon with two young children aged 2 1/2 years and 6 years. It didn't take us long to get round (around 25 minutes), and although the children weren't overly impressed we were glad we had been and in visiting the museum supported a local interest group. Not sure we will ever go back though! Would benefit from a children's trail/treasure hunt or something similar.

“Not worth the time”

If you are an old bus geek then you may enjoy yourself, otherwise it takes about 20 minutes to walk around. it can be incorporated with a visit to Whisby nature park if you have a car

“Buses Galore!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2013

We dropped in here after visiting Doddington Hall, as the SatNav showed it was nearby.

It is a large building crammed full of old vehicles. Plenty of nostalgia and memories. Apart from the vehicles, which included a considerable number of buses, there is automotive paraphernalia from all eras. Well worth a visit, and the entrance fees are more than reasonable.

“Well done”

A delightful collection of old vehicles, mainly buses. Keep an eye out for their open days and enjoy trips around Lincoln in buses of all ages. Well done to you all, and thank you.
