Only a 10 min walk from Lincoln centre, Mayfield was perfect for our weekend away.
Welcoming and comfortable.
Beautifully clean.
Good nights sleep.
Great views from our room.

A really great little B&B!

This charming B and B is close to the Cathedral, the castle, uptown and great restaurants. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated with a great view. Ask for the room that has views of the valley. Good breakfast, extremely accomodating hosts, if I wanted scrambled eggs, I got scrambled. It has a parking lot that you can stay in for free. Almost none of the other B and B's or hotels in Lincoln provide this amenity.

Great hotel great people this was a gem in lincon will defiantly go back again nice clean room nice breakfast and a good price to boot parking was great in rear car park lincon cathedral was spectacular all in all a grat place to stay its all a shame these days that most place you stay are chain based this was a private run place with its own identity welldone

The only down side of our visit was nothing to do with the band b was the fact they were filming some stupid you tube naff video in the town and had closed off a big area great idea lincon on a Friday eve in the summer

We booked the Mayfield at very short notice as we had planned a trip to see friends in Lincoln and hadn't realised that it was Waddington Air Show. We booked int eh morning and arrived late afternoon and was greeted with a very warm welcome from Sue and David.

The room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard with lovely views.

The breakfast was great, healthy options available, couldn't fault the Mayfield.

Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Lincoln.

My daughter and I stayed here last night 2/7/13, we were made very welcome by Sue & David. We had two rooms which were both very clean & tidy with tea/coffee making facility and some very nice shortbread biscuits. It is well situated with a leisurely stroll of 10/15 minutes into the City and many restaurants. Our breakfast was traditional full English and was very tasty along with the healthy brown bread toast. Parking is available at the rear of the guest house, I think you can get 3 or possibly 4 cars in. We would definitely stay here again.
