Checked in by the wonderfull Leanne. Very quick service. Room 411 was nice and big and clean. Overlooked a busy main road with a side view to the Cathedral. We did not hear much noise from the room. The hotel is in a great location with shops, pubs and restaurants all within 2mins walk. Receptionist Sophie kindly found our return train time as we had different options on the tickets, this leading to us getting home 1hr earlier than expected. Train return from Loughborough to Lincoln central was £33 for 2 adults ! We would use this hotel again as it met our needs and suitable price range. We usually go for the breakfast facilities, and in the past the meal deal which is excellent value but on this occasion we dined out for a change.
Lincoln has much to see and offer !!!

Room Tip: 2 adults in room 411. Near the lift with decent view !

Can't fault this Premier Inn - definitely a flag ship for the company. Staff at all levels couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the restaurant area was welcoming and the breakfast cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Try and book a cathedral view room - spectacular. Triple glazed so no noise from the traffic.

I am a fan of Premier Inns and this one did not disappoint me.
The email they sent advising me about the parking was helpful-
it was in a multi-storey building behind the hotel. This multi-storey is not part of the hotel, so it was a bit of a wait to get in-as it was busy.
It charged £1 per hour for a maximum of 3 hours, or £4 for 24 hours!! Amazing!!
You can pay at the machine by coins, cards or you can pay by phone-the number is provided. You then need to display the ticket in the window.

It's in a great location-about 5 minutes walk from the main area of shops and bars.
It was only opened in April I believe so it's still all fresh and new.
Check in was from 2pm and we used the machine to check in.
This was all very efficient, with the helpful lady at the desk assisting us with using the machine.
The reception area was lovely and clean, with comfortable seats for waiting.
We got to the room-it's all very hi-tech-you just touch the card on the door sensor and it lets you in.
The room was lovely and cosy.
Tea, coffee and a hair dryer were all provided.
There were ample sockets in the room, which is always important to me!!
The bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely.

Although this is on a busy main road, we didn't hear the traffic at all.

Shower gel and hand soap were provided.
The only thing I'd say was a slight problem, was that the bath could be potentially slippery-there is a non-slip coating on the bath under the shower but not the whole of the bath.
Long towels were provided, which is always a bonus.

I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Five of us stayed overnight here for a post-wedding "do" elsewhere in the city, and we were very impressed. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, the rooms were clean, comfortable, adequately equipped and well sound-proofed, and the hotel was modern and spotless. Breakfast was partly served and partly self-service in pleasant and comfortable surroundings; we were offered a good choice of food which was well prepared and just what we wanted.

One can't expect a city-centre Premier Inn, such as this, to have its own car park, but the multi-storey car park (owned and run by the City Council) immediately to the rear of the hotel is well located and excellent value, charging £2.50 for a twenty-four-hour stay at weekends (and £4 mid-week).

Stayed for a single overnight en route elsewhere and wished we had booked for two nights. Very well located. Ideally placed for the multi-storey parking next door (although on street parking is available overnight outside the hotel). Friendly efficient check-in, with self check in also available. Everything else you would expect from Premier Inn at an affordable price.
