“Best Premier Inn I've stayed in”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

I have stayed here several times for work and it is very good. Premier Inns are consistenly reasonably priced, modern and comfortable but can often be located out of town & I don't like the pubs that are commonly provided as your only choice of restaurant (especially at breakfast!). But this is hotel is really central so an easy walk to everything Lincoln has to offer. The onsite restaurant is also pretty good with quiet atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend if staying in Lincoln for work. Free wifi for half an hour, but then you have to pay (though reasonable cost).

Premier Inn provides consistent comfortable facilities for city breaks. Conveniently placed for exploring Lincoln but at the bottom of the hill! Located on a fast busy road but the room was quiet and little evidence of the traffic outside. Staff friendly & helpful. Parking facilities are a small council run pay & display multi storey car park at the rear of the building which was well lit & patrolled. Reasonable charges too - £4/24 hours weekdays £2/24 hours weekends. The front door is located on the corner so you can pull in and off load passengers and luggage before parking.

My 2 sisters and I spent a night here and were very very happy with everything about the hotel. The location is great - short walk to the shops, shortish hike up to the hotel - a bit steep but lovely views on the way. Central but no road noise that I detected. The hotel is immaculate, both the public areas and the rooms themselves. The rooms are spacious and well fitted out with all the amenities you want - good shower and the biggest bathtowel I've ever used! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took the meal deal which was great value - including a 2 course evening meal with a drink and a full breakfast. The food was excellent - we all had different starters which were all ample and tasty and then had really good burgers. I would strongly recommend the hotel and the meal deal.

Stayed here for our daughters graduation at Lincoln cathedral. Hotel right in the centre of Lincoln. Our room faced the main road but the windows were triple glazed so could only just hear the traffic. All areas of the hotel spotless. We were so busy we didn't stay there every long, it was more of a crash pad. Very hot day and they had left air con on all night which was good. We didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment on that. There is a NCP car park behind that is £4 for 24 hours. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed at the Premier Inn on a recent visit to Lincoln. The hotel is very close to the city centre and all the sites can be reached by foot. It was of a the usual Premier Inn high standard with a restaurant attached.
