Review of Ellis Windmill

Takes a bit of finding, it's in a side street near the Lincoln Life museum, which is also worth a visit. There is a free car park at the mill. It is run by volunteers and if the wind is blowing they will grind some wheat for flour. One of the old men who works there (Pete) is very helpful and will show you round.

The Mill is a few minutes walk from the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, and and well worth a visit. We were given a tour of the mill, and the workings explained to us, with some intersting facts thrown in. The three gentlemen volunteers who were manning the mill were lovely, and a mine of information on Lincoln, as well as the Mill, giving us directions to some little known points of interest.
