I wrote a review several months ago but unfortunately it got attached to the wrong Hume Arms! This is the Hume in South Kyme, postcode area LN4. Since the initial review I've been back numerous times and the food and friendly welcome never disappoint. The Indian dishes are outstanding - my mum praised the samosas as the best she'd ever had - and the Sunday lunches, hand carved by Vijay from the silver Victorian carving table, are a delight. Our last visit earlier this month was a village quiz, and Vijay and Maeve put on a Christmas stew - delicious. The Hume also has the maximum 5 rating for food hygiene - it doesn't get better than that.
