We got married at the beginning of February 2018 and had an afternoon reception at the tipis at the Pyewipe. Without a shadow of a doubt using the pyewipe for our reception was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Having looked at pretty much all the wedding venues in lincolnshire we knew immediately when we set eyes inside the tipis that it was the only place we wanted to spend out wedding day. The tipis when lit up at night blow every other venue in Lincoln out of the water! It was so cosy inside, and all our guests commented on how amazing the venue was. The fire was on when we arrived for our reception with all the fairy lights and bunting creating a wonderful nordic winter style theme. Chris the wedding organiser at the Pyewipe was phenomenal - given that we had a limited budget, some very specific ideas and only two months to plan a wedding - he went above and beyond in catering for our wedding party. He was so professional from start to finish and gave us the best wedding we could ever have dreamed of. There is one review on Trip Advisor which comments on how cold the tipis were at one event - i can verify there was NO PROBLEM WITH THE HEATING for us! The hog roast was great and there was a brilliant DJ who set the mood and kept the party flowing til late.

Another special shout out to all the staff in the restaurant and the management team who kindly catered for 20 loud Mancunians the Friday night before the wedding when our dinner reservation fell through - the food was phenomenal and we cant thank you enough for housing everyone out of the blue!More
