If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with good countryside and a very warm and generous welcome, this is a great place to stay. The standard of the bedroom and especially the onsite bathroom exceeded expectations. What was especially good for us was the welcome and thought given to our dog, a Jack Russel (with notification) who, with us, very much enjoyed the chickens and walk along footpaths in local fields. The breakfast was exceptional, and we were particularly grateful for Ellen sourcing some excellent gluten-free bread actually tasted great! We were made to feel very welcome and looked after. Will certainly stay again if our travels take us through the area again.
