On the sign outside the door Pimento states that it is a Vegetarian tearoom with a wide range of Gluten Free options. As I am vegetarian and my partner is on a GF diet it seemed ideal. On arrival the options for mains of two curries, veggie chilli and a warm salad seemed promising. When we asked the waitress which were gluten free she confidently told us that none of their food was GF except they had some GF bread so my partner could have a sandwich. It seems rediculous that somewhere advertising themselves as catering for GF diets would add gluten to dishes that are easily (and usually) gluten free. The only other explanation is that they employ staff who do not know what gluten is. Either way not very impressive.
