“beautiful barn conversion.”
Reviewed 5 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Very comfortable, warm and quite luxurious feel to the master bedroom. In good position for Lincoln, and surrounding villages. Lots to see and do. Very well equipped, and spacious with the high ceilings. Wonderful welcome pack, and little extras. Cottage garden, and nice decked area to sit out on, and chickens added to rural feel. Couldn't fault it at all. Kids loved it too.

“Immaculate & peaceful cottage”
Reviewed 31 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Fantastic cottage in a picturesque area. The cottage was furnished with great attention to detail, incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Really thoughtful to have tea/coffee and even a homemade cake for our arrival. It was only a short stay but would definitely recommend, excellent value for the four of us who stayed the weekend. Thanks to Karen for making us feel so welcome!

What a lovely little barn conversion, well equipped throughout , comfortable and cosy,
Little touches such as the welcome pack milk bread butter and home made lemon cake, made our stay that little bit more special.... Karen the owner was very polite but let us get on with our stay, I would differently recommend anyone to stay here....... We felt at home the moment we turned up. I will definitely be booking again a thoughly enjoyably weekend at a lovelely place

“Fabulous South Hykeham!”
Reviewed 23 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Having stayed in many excellent holiday properties of all kinds, both in UK and abroad, I would certainly rank this as one of, if not the best. As only the 7th residents we benefited from this being very modern as just fitted. However Jim and Karen have done a first rate job. Firstly in the tasteful and spacious barn conversion with all mod cons, and secondly in attention to detail e.g. welcome pack with all essentials and wonderful lemon drizzle cake! The location is great both for all parts of Lincs but also neighbouring locations. the proximity to LIncoln is very handy and I would recommend a day in that great city. All in all a great week!

We stayed in the barn 22nd-25th July 2015. Superb! Beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodation. Everything you need with a touch of luxury! Location is lovely, quiet and was ideal for us to visit family close by. Karen was very friendly and welcoming. Hope to stay again!

“5 Star Stunning Accomodation”
Reviewed 23 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Arrived Friday, owner was very friendly and accommodating. Goodies waiting in the cottage - home made cake, freshly baked cake, milk, teas and coffees, small boxes of cereal, biscuits. Tastefully decorated to a very high standard. Good quality cooking equipment, some toiletries and they even provided four white fluffy towel-in robes.

Stunning accommodation, close to major roads so ideal base to explore lincoln. Lots of restaurants, takeaways, pubs and supermarkets close by. Would highly recommend.

Novel touch having a roll top bath in the corner of the bedroom - worked really well. So we'll in fact husband is now looking in to install a bath in our bedroom!!

My mother in law is very unwell - is very week and needs to use a wheel chair most of the time. As the property had a bedroom, kitchen, livingroom and walk in shower on the ground floor it was very easy for her to get round. The dining table and second bedroom, with roll top bath and en-suite, are up the stairs.

“Peace & Quiet”
Reviewed 5 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Coming from Lincoln myself, I obviously know the area well.. The barn conversion is absolutely fabulous, and everything in it is all you could wish for in a holiday stay. It has full kitchen facilities. The master bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, whilst there is another bedroom with two single beds and bathroom downstairs.
The location is such that you are in the countryside hence the "peace & quiet". However, it is in easy reach of a number of restaurants(located close to where you turn off at the Jet garage). The cheapest breakfast that you will find is at ASDA circa 2 miles away.
The historic "Uphill" area of Lincoln where the Cathedral, Castle and "Steep Hill" are located is easily accessible via the bypass.
I would definitely stay here again, as it is far more preferable than a hotel.

Karen. Thank you for an excellent stay.
